WEP - Wednesday 15th June

Post by Pies R Us »

Apparently we are being linked with:

Jason Cayless - Roosters
Iafeta Palea'aesina - NZ Warriors
Joe Galuvao - Penrith Panthers

What does everybody think? I know at least the bottom two are under kolpak ruling, not sure about Cayless?

All three would be great.

Has anybody else heard anything further about these three? I know Galuvao is injured at the moment and we are awaiting him to return to fitness before talking to him. Palea'aesina - I believe we are going to talk to him later this week. And I hadn't heard anything more about Cayless????

I've been saying for ages that Cayless would be just the kind of signing we need, but I always thought he would count in the quota. The other two, as you rightly say, are exempt.
Vaealiki's Girl...he's an ex 'Parra', isn't he, any info for us? :) In particular, do you know if he has a Samoan or eqivalent connection, to be off the quota?

We can hope. I don't see why not. Two of them are under kolpak for sure. so why not.

Hope you're right - I'd love to see Cayless here! I know about the other two, but where did you find the info on him?

I'm sure it says in the wigan observer he's under the kolpak ruling or hints at it. Whilst we're signing them three we can get stuart reardon from bradford, he's british so there's no problem there.
