Just had a look and the 'photo of the Whitehaven pier brought a lump to my throat.

I think I probably walked on that pier about 70 years ago with my Dad.

Thanks for the memory and all the other wonderful pictures.

Cheers BriH glad they brought back memories, i used to fish that pier quite a lot around 25 years ago, that was the first time i'd been back to it since then
