Sam Powell can kick!
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

They reckon they "owe us one" after denying them a win at magic weekend so hope they go home just as disappointed tomorrow. They've also just signed Ben Pomeroy til end of year so if he plays it could be a tasty encounter http://www.warringtonguardian.co.uk/sp ... agic_draw/

pearsy wrote:We had Smith kicking does not get a look in at sts and is a better for not having the pressure of having to take them .Most teams have two players who can convert try's.It did not look like Williiams wanted the task after the last match.Might be Tomkins tomorrow he has plenty of time to practice Lets hope it does not come down to kicks because there will be only one winner and it will not be cherry and white

So, what colour are we playing in then?

TBH the returnees must give us some improvement as surely we can't get any worse than v Leigh

Surely not unless we have completely scrapped cup signing deadlines?????

Good point Ian forgot about that although with some of the things RFL do and ideas they discussed at the meeting held recently anything is possible

That's true but why isn't one, anyone at this point at least trying to improve their kicking?

Escare isn't the answer been wholly unconvinced by his kicking but it's a site better than what there is now,one kick from Williams nearly hit me and many others it was so far wide of the mark it was laughable.

It's the confidence to that having a halfway decent kicker brings into the side at the moment drop goals conversions penalties all seem a distant memory on a regular basis of being scored at least.

Not quite EW. Botica was understudy to Grant Fox in the All Blacks team. I've expressed my views re dedicated kicker previously on here.
