Had been strongly rumoured, so we'll have to wait and see if we get another much needed prop forward for 2018.

For me, FPN since his arrival:

Outstanding - zero games

Pretty good - maybe 5 games, say the last two, plus perhaps three last season.

Pretty ordinary - all the rest.

His best game was against Warrington last year imo, when Ben Flower got sent off and we came back and won 28-35. I thought he was outstanding on that day.

The props were doing good at the start of the season......they were fit and being spelled....... i cant stop thinking that we are wasting a sub with Powell on the bench.....i like powell but i prefer mac at hooker......i think we could improve as a team with an impact hooker........ maybe powell starting in the halves and tommy being an impact bench hooker? Just a thought

I think we're better off with Powell than another prop on the bench. Cover for very important positions and I still think he's overall playing better than McIlorum, the odd big hit aside.

Gerrard wouldn't have been a bad squad player, I think some are underestimating him. However, I do thing we need to be looking at someone with maybe a bigger leadership personality in the group anyway so no huge loss.
