Re: Mark Percival
Strong rumour Ben Currie signed for Wigan and a whisper Percival also on radar as Gelling as I said earlier in the year could be going to NZ Warriors mmmmmmm

I’d be made up if those 2 signings happen!ddtftf wrote:Strong rumour Ben Currie signed for Wigan and a whisper Percival also on radar as Gelling as I said earlier in the year could be going to NZ Warriors mmmmmmm

If true(can’t see it), we most have a hell of a lot of space on the salary cap.
Can’t see Percival and currie on small wages

I'd be overwhelmed if that happened but I agree with CP I can't see it. Having said that ddtftf is usually right.

The rumour re Ben Currie comes from ddtftf and he's usually pretty accurate.
If it true and I'm drawn to believe it then the club has found what could be the replacement for Lockers. That would be a great signing.
Percival is a quality centre and there aren't many of those around. I'd be more than happy to see him at Wigan.

Percival is a very good and developing player and would be a great signing if Gells goes but I really can't see why saints would let him go. Also, he plays the same side as Gilly who is definitely staying. Most centres seem to have trouble switching sides, is this normally a big problem?

Re: Mark Percival
I'm of the camp it makes zero sense for either Currie or Percival to come to us I can't get why either club would let a home grown talent go,unless they are coming to the end of their contracts.
That said I'd welcome both of them, both great talents in the making.
