TBH for the club to move forward not resigning players when they fall short is a must. At least we'll know where we are up to!

Hard to imagine he hasn't.
How does he reckon he'll go on against some of those centres and back rowers especially the South Sea Islanders.
Although Gildart isn't small by our standards he will be by theirs. They are huge, fast, strong and skillful.
The lad needs a lot more experience before he tries his luck in the NRL. Unless of course he's looking at their reserve grade rather than first team rugby.
He should do himself a favour and re-sign with Wigan.
Well there *are* backs his size and smaller in the NRL, Kevin Naiqama springs to mind. And of course Ben Barba didn't have too many problems! But they are very talented footballers with excellent pace and footwork. Ollie has a way to go to get there.
Kevin Naiqama is bigger than you think. May not be the tallest but a bet he’s 2 stone heavier than Gildart

Wiki says Naiqama is 90 kg.

Frankly I'm amazed if Gildart is as light as 82kg; he looks heavier than that.

Tedesco doesn't play in the centres, though. And Greg Inglis is a freak, so, to be fair, neither are particularly representative.

Yeah Tedesco is a fb and Inglis could play any position on the pitch.

How about a Michael Jennings

You start seeing names like these and you start to see what kind of opponents he is up against. I honestly believe he is in great danger

Don't get me wrong, I very much doubt Gildart could hack it in the NRL, certainly on current form. I was simply making the point that not all NRL players are the size of Greg Inglis; there are guys around about OG's size (I could also have mentioned the likes of Dane Gagai and Tyrone Peachey). But he would have to improve substantially IMO.
