I can't believe the club haven't announced anything. the way Isa reacted was enough to show it was a bad one. He obviously heard a pop or just budgie scream.

So what's the secret, we all just want to know how he is, we don't need to know the details.

Maybe they don't know the full extent of his injury just yet.

Some times the swelling needs to reduce, even with a CT scan.

I have asked the Warriors on Twitter, but that’s as useless at times as the Official site!

Does anyone know that there is a supposedly curtain raiser on Friday in that the Reserves v Wakefield with a 6pm KO??

This was scheduled before the Salford game change from Sunday!

I have also asked about this on Twitter, & still waiting for a reply to this too!

They won't know anything for definite yet. Ben Currie only got his results on Friday which was almost a week after he went off against Bradford.

The paper says he is out for the foreseeable future but no certain time frame yet. Such a shame.
It also says Manfredi is only a few weeks away. Be fascinating to see how well he has recovered. If he has lost a bit of pace, could he play in the pack or the centres?

Burgess faces spell on sidelines

Shaun Wane was last night still waiting to discover the full extent of Joe Burgess’ knee injury.

The winger hobbled off Widnes’ artificial surface in Friday’s 32-24 win. Wigan were waiting for swelling to ease before they could give a recovery time-frame but Burgess will likely be sidelined for the foreseeable future.

Tom Davies will take his place in the starting side after recovering from a rolled ankle, probably back into his familiar role on the right, with Liam Marshall switching to the left.

And Wane also revealed Dom Manfredi – who hasn’t played a top-level game in nearly two years – is on course for a return in the next few weeks.

Meanwhile, NRL outfit Wests Tigers have reportedly cooled their interest in Oliver Gildart. The Wigan centre is out of contract at the end of this season and had been linked with a move to the Tigers. Recruitment manager Dave Warwick checked him out during a recent trip to England.

But Australian journalist The Mole says the form of youngster Esan Marsters has persuaded them to decide against a move for Gildart, who has also surfaced on St Helens’ radar.

Are you asking if a player who has been out for 2 years with what was once a potentially career ending injury can play in a position he has not ever played for the first team, then the answer is no.
