Are we to presume that Hardaker will be announced at some point today or this week?

That sounds like the club wanted him to stay.

If Radlinski's statement is true and the club offered him a 4 year contract as a marquee player on terms better then ST expected then have to say very disappointed in Sam after last 2/3 years. Doesn't all hang together really given Catalan's situation.

Glad it’s out in the open now,with luck other moves will be confirmed soon,sadly overall though it hasn’t been a great return for him,out for so long with injuries it’s a shame that this season he finally found the form we all hoped he still had in him,still I wish him well.

Sounds like the Catalan approach to Sam was outwith the rules. If that's the case they need their knuckles rapped . Every club does it JUST DON'T GET CAUGHT doing it lol :badg: :eusa9: :badg:

Everyone assumed that Catalans were offering a Marquee deal and Wigan weren't. It was also mentioned Catalans offered a 4 year deal and Wigan less.

Now it turn out Wigan have offered a 4 year Marquee deal, for more money than Sam was expecting, but still he choses Catalans because he wants to experience the culture.

So he turns his back on Wigan and any real chance of success in the future, just so his kids can learn a new language. He could have got that at Wigan Tech.

He really will be Rat Boy if his team are not winning every week and decisions going against them, but oh well at least he'll be able to go back to his chateau and a glass of wine after the game.

But the deal they offered was less than what he came back on so it doesn’t really add up when you think about it,”salary set too high” is the phrase,so going by that statement they didn’t offer him an increase which he clearly was looking for,it’s a short career and you look out for number one.

So they wanted him to take a big pay cut but not willing to take up the option for the extra year. Now before everyone starts crucifying Sam, Remember Rads & IL are getting in to a habbit now with this situation. It's never as simple as they make out and there's always another side.
