Signings??

Post by 6742hitch »

Does anyone know if there is any new players coming in for next season or are we gonna wait till every other team has taken what they want and we’re left with the “bargain DVDs st the checkout”? I ask because Saints recently announced a new signing for 2019 and Wire have just given someone a contract too, both overseas players!

We will be signing Hamlins understudy. Have no hope for recruitment tbh

James Slevin
Ces Mountford
And the “kind of rugby player you’d want to be in your dreams” James Leytham
Should be in the Wigan Warriors Hall

Tomkins (whose true colours have been seen over the last few days) for Hardaker is an upgrade.

Bateman for Greenwood is decent business, and possibly good business for the medium/long term given the wear and tear on Bateman's body from his style of play and size.

Another decent squad prop for Sutton and we will be like for like pretty good.

Which leaves a marquee place?

This could well work out fine by the time we see the full picture.

Add a centre and halfback and we'll be cooking with gas

Think we need a new coach first. He might not want Greenwood as he knows of better players.

Sorry, I obviously haven't been paying attention - who's Greenwood?

Joe Greenwood, ex St Helen’s player

His brother, James, used to play for our academy but went to HKR on loan & stayed there as far as I’m aware
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.

that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
