Now is the time the throw money at the problem. We need an organising scrum half, and 2 big props who can cause some damage. Why don't we cancel Seu Seu and Moran's contracts (presumably we can just pay them off - expensive but these are desperate times), get Lam and Smith back asap, and then pay fees to get Fletcher and Richards over here straight away. No use signing players for next year for trips to Whitehaven. Once Orr and Rads are fit we could field a side good enough to beat Salford, Wakefield and Widnes...

I know it would be relatively expensive, but it gives Whelan the chance to blow some money on the rugby for once.
