WNAL

Post by warrior till i die »

Hi as every wigan fan are really down at the minute me and PorterjohLam have decided to start a petition to bring back the missed and influential Adrian Lam. We are not trying to take a swipe at any of our other halves but we feel lammy would bring us experience and leadership and also some well needed structure. If you would like to sign please go to http://www.petitiononline.com/WNAL/petition.html

Many thanks,

I know Lammy was a great player for Wigan, but i just don't think hes the answer to our troubles. Yes he'd bring his leadership qualities and skill, but how many games would it take him to get back into the swing of things? We just can't afford this at the minute.

yes but we could do with the players because of the injuries. It would allow moran less pressure so he can play better and also he has been training the lads so he should be pretty fit.

You say he's expressed an interest in returning, if he still wanted to play he wouldn't of retired! And i don't think he would be entirely match fit even though he does still train.

Don't get me wrong, i would be happy if he decided to come and be available to play, i just think it's unrealistic. I also think it could just as easily have a negative effect on Moran as a positive one - it would show him the club feels he needs help and could knock his confidence.

Yeah, it would knock Moran's confidence. But he does need help. The retiring thing was necessary at the time- now he wants to come back.
does Moran not remind you of Lam?

What tiny bit of dignity we have left. What tiny bit of confidence our half backs have. And what tiny bit of faith we have in our half backs. Adrian Lam is not a God he is a retired player, retired through choice. His knees are knackered, hes admitted that they may feel alright to him now, but hes not doing any real work on them. Adrian Lam hasnt played a proper rugby game since at least october last year. Bringing in an unfit, unprepared, retired half back is going to do us no good at all. The players we have now didnt play with lammy last season, they dont know his game plan. Moran and no.6 are playing behind a beaten pack, i'd like to see andrew johns and darren lockyer perform behind our pack and see what magic they do. Like it or not (i choose not) Moran is our no.7 and he is what we have for the next year or so Adrian Lam is not going to come back, if he does, which he wont, there wont be the slgihtest bit of difference. One man is not responsible for the way a team plays, thats why its called a team. They all need to book their ideas up!
