Kear to leave Wigan

Latest on BBC text, John Kear will leave Wigan to take up the coaching post at Hull.
Mike Gregory will assume the assistant coach role.
I'm sure we all wish him the best and thank him for bringing up some quality kids through the ranks.

The only thing we are gaining is the reputation that we cannot keep hold of our staff - Marketing / Media Managers....etc !

Can't say I'm surprised to see Kear go (At least not HALF as surprised as I was when he arrived !!!!).
I never really understood what he did for the club, apart from taking the video sessions for Stuart.
I HOPE that he's improved things at Wigan in his time here, but I can't really see anything that stands out.
Good luck to John in whatever he does, but I don't think we'll miss him as much as we miss the likes of Marty Hulme.
