Does anyone know where I can pre-order the game in Wigan? (Game & Game Station will not stock RL2 apparently)

That's the original not the new one.

Alternative Software are handling the UK distribution for Rugby League 2.

I contacted them a few weeks ago and they said that they should begin taking pre-orders for the game in mid July.

Pre orders (when they are being accepted) can be made on their mail order line (01977) 555222

Also, Alternative advised an edition for the XBOX will be available. This will be released about 3 weeks after the PC and PS2 editions.

Looks like a big improvement on the original, although the original is still currently the best game to be released.
