Such opinions are not new, which I am sure you know. He’s nowhere near as good as the hookers mentioned by the BBC. That’s a problem.morley pie eater wrote:Powell the new whipping boy from Day 1 apparently? Watch this space

Nothing more than steady Eddie, I guess we won't be seeing any top Hookers in the near future

Best team won but there were plenty of positives. We were short of bodies in the second half, we will improve with a full 17 and match fitness.

Not much in the game really ,same problems as last season as regards scoring tries .Same moves same bad habits .
Far to many mistakes but Bullock looked a handful and Hardaker did ok .Hicks was his appalling self second half sees what he wants to see .

Can't disagree with what everyone said. When we had them on their own line, we weren't able to throw enough at them (due to no small extent to the defending we had had to do), and we conceded two softish tries. And Powell and Faz were certainly poor, and Bullock was good, and Greenwood worked hard. As for the hooker position, surely the plan anyway will be to have Williams and Sammut in the halves, and Tommy at 9?
