Can anyone think of a reason why Lammy shouldn't be aloud to play, because I can't.

Adrian Lamb is a great rugby league player who is passionate about the game. Let him entertain everyone in the World Seven a-sides, like he did so, for all of us admiring Cherry and Whites fans, in the Super League last season.

Ok I like watching Lammy as much as the next person but consider the implications of him getting injured.
We send Faz and Lammy, the scousers send Tony Stewart. Who's the mugs?
You can't stop him playing

Despite the obvious potential for injury you can't prevent the PNG captain from playing.
If we did, the PNG govt. would probably send a task force and invade the UK such is the passion for the game there.
I don't like how we have what are probably our two most key players in the squad and really why we are sending a team at all one week before the CC is the real problem.
Who gives a toss about the Sydney 7's? They are not an international competition as such - they just feature Aussie club sides plus a few special teams like England and PNG don't they?
The powers that be should have politely declined the invite.
What is more important? The CC or a non-international sevens run-out?
