There were some drunk Saints fans at the front behind the sticks near me causing a bit of a caffufle with some drunk Wigan fans. There were a few heated exchanges then the steward got the police in. Then outside there were more Saints fans winding up Wigan fans, one was lucky not have his face caved in by one lad.

They were stood right next to me, and on my right hand side I was lucky enough to have some stupid little kids trying to wind aman up and infront we had a whole family of them. Seriously how pathetic do you get, you've got 3 other stands and you stand in the Wigan one. 'not a very nice word' the lot of em

At the back were my dad n brother were stood on each side there were a set of "children" who were saints fans and after about 5 minutes you just wanted to slap the lot of them; they joined in with all the wigan chants and were responsible for all the banging at the back. In the 2nd half i went and stood behind the posts with my mate and she said "they shouldnt be allowed to breathe the same air as me, they should be made to breathe carbon monoxide" thought it was quite harsh but it was still quite funny, its certainly one way of dealing with them.

The thing that disappointed me most was the way the Saints fans have turned against Millward. Even now he is coach of Wigan, he is always praising Saints (too much for my liking actually) but he took loads of stick on Friday from that hypocritical rabble.

The funniest thing that happened was a mate of mine asking for a safety helmet when he paid his admission!!
