Re: released players
i totally agree with the bad guy on this one. we have released talent from last season such as robinson and briscoe from seasons ago. look at what these players have done at their new clubs. we have lacked the experience in our team this year and it has cost us. the youth is there and that is superb but lets hope we can keep hold of the players such as kevin brown, sean gleeson, harisson hansen, bryn hargreaves etc.

Re: released players
O'connor wanted to leave wigan. Robinson caused some trouble at wigan by selling pongias story and other little incidents and briscoe was just a waste waiting for rads to retire, although i agree it was a mistake letting him go. Cassidy i aint too bothered about nobody knew lockers and hock would get injured or that faz would leave this season, so at the end of last season they really werent needed at wigan.

Re: released players
these are my reasons- hes young give him time he will improve and is already looking promising at 19 years old. he has covered for us when we have needed players eg. when kris was injured he covered at full back for a while he has covered at stand off in games and at centre. he has great pace and yes can be ball greedy but aren't most of the players i mean now its just pass and run alot of the time. he has helped us in critical circumsatnces, take widness for an example scored the winner can't argue with that. has a handful of trys to his name this season. he will learn from the players around him like i said, 19 years old he still has alot of time to improve his game. does anyone want to back me up on what ive just said or is it just me who thinks he is a good player.

Re: released players
He's been a first team player for 2/3 years and hasnt shown any improvement since last season. He shows no creativity for a so called stand off. He is exactly what you described him as a cover player, he hasnt been able to hold down a position, hes played centre, full back, loose forward and stand off but hasn't pushed anyone for a place. He needs to show rapid improvement to become a good player, at the moment and only at times does he look promising.

Re: released players
are you just all simple in head or do i have to repeat myself.....hes 19 god damn.... 19 u aint seen an improvement because theres time for it and yea there has been improvements. i mean what the hell he aint been a good stand off. well when danny orr was injured why didnt we just play a prop at stand off seeing as thoguh you see brown as worthless. he is superb for his age. i think you forget about what he has done for wigan in this past year he has saved us when we have called on him. when we beat widnes earlier in season he bossed the headlines. why because he was the best player on the pitch in that match he was superb. no talent eeyyyyy. he scored erm 3 trys a few seasons back and he wasn't awarded man of the match. stevo actually boguht him a tissot watch and presented him with it. he can inconsistanat but he is still learning and hopefully with the players around him he will become a great team player. there are faults in every players game look a connelly. outstanding career. were did he start. ive seen the challenge cup video when we beat saints 27-0. he didn't play well and look were he is today he has had an outstanding career and wigan were foolish to let him go he would have been great for the team this year to help us in difficult positions. so all im saying is give kevin a chance.

Re: released players
He's 20. I didnt mention him not being good, i mentioned him showing no improvement form last year, and i made no reference to scoring tries or how well he plays. He has had some amazing games for wigan yes, and that match where he scored three tried was just one of them. Tickle, Hansen, Hargreaves have all shown improvement this year brown hasnt. Scoring the winning try of a game doesnt necesserily mean you've had a good game. I understand there is room for improvement but this year i dont see brown as being any better than aspinwall and if aspinwall hasnt earned a new contract then brown hasnt, hes played less games and been more inconsistent.
