:bore: I know this rumour has come up many times before but this time Johns' agent has admitted that talks have taken place with as yet anonymous Super League club.

Would love to see Andrew Johns in the Cherry & White even if it is only for a short term deal.

:sly: Wigan released Carney a season early to play for who was it ?? ah yes, Newcastle.

Hmmmm ... very interesting. Watch this space !!

heydude, if the Johns contract is for 'after September' then I suspect it will not be Wigan he is playing for, our last match of the season will be on september 18th :exc:

didn't say he would play for us because it says a team that is in a playoff place just would like to know who could afford him for six games with the salary cap to contend with. :)

heydude, must be the Bulls then, they seem to have all 20 of their squad players on £20k the way they can always add one or two players to their squad mid season :exc:

According to sporting life Mo says it isn't us and I wouldn't really expect it to be if I'm honest although it would have been awesome. Reckon it could be Landan.

Typical Joey wants someone else to do the hard work so he can come in and take the glory in the end.

If you can't tell i don't like him much  I take it he'd only be going over there for the last bit of the season then back to the NRL before the start of our season?

If he was to play for Wigan i think you'd find he'd be the second Newcastle player to drive Vaealiki out of a team.
We'll miss you Freshy!!! Please come back!

I think Vaealiki has suffered for not having a big pack in front of him i think next season he will start to improve alot
