Just seen Wests Tigers playing in the NRL and I have had the chance to see Fletcher playing on the wing.
He seems to have good hand skills and uses the "basket ball" style really well, he did score a try and was involved in the build up to another.
Worringly though the one real wingers try that was avaiable to him he did look particularly slow (easily caught) and reminded me of Tony Iro (second rower on the wing). As T.Iro benefitted from superb service of Gregory and Edwards Fletcher is reaping the benefits of the two fabulous youngsters Steve(?) Price and Benji Marshall. These two look real special and for those who think that Kev Brown can play you should watch these two and compere the difference!
Unless recruitment is made in our half back dept. I doubt we will see the best of Fletch apart from his monster drop outs!
