Wigan Warriors U19s vs Bradford Bulls U19s, Academy Super League, Robin Park Arena, Saturday 29th June, 12:30pm K.O.
Game will be streamed live on Wigan TV from 12:30pm.
Wigan season ticket holders can watch the game for free. For non-season ticket holders, it is £5 entry for Adults and £3 for Juniors.
Ahead of Saturday’s game against Bradford Bulls at the Robin Park Arena, Wigan Warriors Under-19s Head Coach Shane Eccles says his side are the ones to beat in the Academy Super League.
Wigan are four points clear at the top of the table with 12 wins from 13 in 2019 and are unbeaten at home. The Cherry and Whites also have the best attack with 530 points scored, including 94 tries, as well as the best defence with just 196 points conceded.
Speaking to Wigan TV this week, Eccles said: “As we’re half-way through the year now and we’ve played everyone, every team will know what to expect from us and they’re all going to raise their game to try and get a win over us; we need to rise to that challenge every week.
“We’ve played really well at home this year and we want to continue that form on Saturday.”
The last time Wigan and Bradford met was at the start of May at Odsal Stadium, where the Warriors ran out 44-12 winners, scoring eight tries.
The Bulls are currently seventh in the league with five wins from 13 games and are five points off the play-off places.
Fresh from last week’s derby victory at St Helens, full-back Umyla Hanley says his team know what to expect from Bradford on Saturday.
He said: “Every team wants to be at the top and that’s us right now. Everyone wants to beat us. We know their strengths and weaknesses, but we should roll on.”
Eccles added: “I think we’ll get a real tough and physical game.”
