i would rather prefer it if the ball was just tapped myself.

yea i agree with that. scrums can slow the game down alot aswell. i don't liek scrums against us. we seem to have gaps everywere. like in the warrington game at the jjb brent grose did a full length try :conf: hes good but he got through to easy IMO.

i don't they jsut seem so pointless. they are very rarely won by the opposing team anymore because the ball is just fed through the back. i think its just an excuse to stop play. like i said id rather just tap the ball.

Instead of scrapping them, they should actually apply the rules of them and make them worth while, saying get rid of them is one the most rediculous things I've heard.

I don't understand what we'd replace them with if we did get rid of them? I also don't see the problem just because they've caused us a few problems this season, surely thats the point, an advantage to the attacking team. Our defence should have been ready for the attacking play, that's our fault.

I don't mind scrums, though our defense does seem to waver when its the other teams feed. We should start making the most of them, like Warrington did......and most refs don't mind the opposition have a kick at the ball, but KK obviously does... :conf:

Only the hooker is allowed to strike for the ball, if anyone else strikes for it then its a penalty, you have to attempt to hook the ball towards your side hence the name hooker, not just lash out with your size 11 boots and think its all good.

I dont know who kicked out in the game you are talking about, but them are the rules.

Thinking about it I dont know who kicked out in the Hull/London match......I was merely defending the scrum, as some say it should be removed from the game.
