No he isn't. His contract has expired although we would have been within our rights to sack him. I hope that he gets himself sorted out because he was a fans favourite and like others before him he is young enough to come back from this in the right team.

He was sacked by the club July last year. Can only now be reported.

Could have been a club legend at Wigan, shame looked really good before his ban, on the Brightside Gabe's departure presented opportunities for Smithies, Partington and Byrne to kick on
