What was wrong with the Isa hit?
Hastings whinging about it being about a knock on because I believe the ref said he'd called time off already so the ball was dead. Which is a bit ridiculous because if I recall correctly he got hit and dropped the ball there and then.
makes a mockery of the same refs decision re isa at Anfield last season then.
I agree. The Toronto player knocked the ball on due to the big hit in the tackle which was not an illegal tackle.
No issue with the ref stopping player to check the player out with the play complete but since when did a player dropping the ball after a hit not equal a knock on?

Was it reckless or dangerous? It certainly didn't look good.
Wasn’t either! There was nothing in it! It was a legitimate tackle!
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
Why did the high hit on Lockers not be worth a look at for a Penalty Try?
Lockers was prevented from scoring a try by foul play.
So why not given by the ref or handed to the VR.

Don’t know the answer to that Ted, it was effectively similar to Powell’s PT v Warrington
