Maybe the season could be run depending on when normal life resumes.
Time could be used by playing two games a week and the C Cup final weekend SL games be played.
To avoid player burnout perhaps the RFL/SL could bring in a temp rule-by law stating no player plays more than 5 or 6 games a month. If the stoppage is for 3 months then players would play 15-18 games in 92 days. More players would be needed so it could be possible to use the reserve team squads to make up SL game day teams. The reserve league would have to be suspended.
It may be possible it depends on how long the stoppage is and revised plans from the RFL/SL and SKY.

Play each team home and away. This would reduce the season by 6 games.

Great idea Morley, I wonder why no one has thought of this before.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

A Super League suspension is likely but will have a huge financial effect on clubs, according to CEO Ralph Rimmer.

Really difficult to know what to do for the best. I assume that they'll suspend play and then I hope they have several contingency plans in place e.g. what to do if we miss 6-8 games or 10-12 games etc. If we miss relatively few games they could cut out the loop fixtures and cancel the challenge cup and still have a viable competition but I'm afraid we may miss more games than that. They need to make it clear at the re-start (if there is one) if there's a point where the competition is pointless/void and then if we play some games at the end of the season just to give the clubs some cash flow. There are so many variables/difficulties such as how long could they extend the season (cancel the ashes tour) and what to do about promotion/relegation.
An additional consideration from the financial point of view is that the clubs already have season ticket money so what do they do if fans demand compensation?

If the government suspends gatherings its hardly SL fault and demanding compensation will do nothing but Damage the sport.
If the club cancelled a game then sure go ahead ask for comp but its out of there hands.
I say this as someone who put there spare money for the year in to get a ticket this year by being effected by a vote that we were told wouldn't effect people negatively.
Claiming for everything is the most annoying modern trait to develop (PPI/Late planes etc). If a bunch of shorted sighted people start demanding money back the sport will be killed off.
These are two reasons not to trust people.
1. We don't know them.
2. We do know them.

Think it's a pretty desperate situation and the clubs will do everything possible to complete the season, including the cash lucrative Challenge Cup. The consequences of having to refund season tickets holders could be catastrophic, never mind the loss of revenue from walk up support.
On the other hand, condensing rather than prolonging the season could work in our favour due to the strength in depth of our squad.
