Jackson has proved he is a loyal guy, everyone knows he has a clause in his contract, so when asked about it would you rather he lied or said it how it is?

Until he gives us a reason to question his commitment or effort then I think we need to give the kid a break, especially with all that's going on in the world right now.

I think the thing with Hastings is he was over the top love in with Salford - he’s come here and I think many fans feel like he’s not come here to be part of Wigan he’s come to put himself in a better shop window for the nrl whereas I felt he genuinely wanted to win things at Salford for Salford I think he genuinely wants to win things at Wigan for his stock

Now I’m not saying there is anything wrong with that but that’s the impression I get

Some players are motivated by this. It's not necessarily a problem. I got the impression Hanley was similar, but he did ok.
