Makes sense when the alternative might be tossing a coin.

Doesn't seem like there's a reasonable alternative.

Bit difficult to evaluate in these uncertain times. Suppose it depends on if or how quickly the season resumes.

If the RFL/SL decide (somehow) to complete this season (regardless of how many rounds are completed), then IMO its fair play and whoever finishes bottom are relegated.

As we are no longer competing for SL licences, its only fair one goes down and one comes up. Disrespectful to Championship teams (London, Leigh, Widnes, Halifax, Toulouse) if they perform strongly! No point in competing if these teams are robbed of glory!

Could have a no relegation season with promotion.
The 2021 season would be a 13 team fixture list which could easily be accommodated.

Can you really have promotion if you odn't have relegation? They'd have to reduce the TV money going to each club. I'd say depending on when this ends we're looking at a cancelled season with a end of season playoff style knockout with all sides invovled to be "champions"

If Covid19 continues to thrive some of the existing SL teams may go to the wall so a new structure would be required.

How much confidence have we got in Boris and The Conservative Party to help/fund the RFL if teams are impacted to the extent of possible existence

None. Wouldn't be confident of him running a bath.
