Can’t help but feel sorry for Wells. 3 months lay off and another what 2 month to get fit again. After his other injuries he just can’t catch a break.

Always good to see ANY players recovering from injury, to be blunt though, does this news really impact us? Would anyone actually pick Clubb and Burgess to start (or even sit on the bench)?

Burgess is still young enough to have an impact, if he gets his fitness back, which depends on the extent of his hip injury. Only he and the club know the likely outcome.
Clubb's past his best and age not on his side, injuries recurring, shouldn't be anywhere near a new contract.
