Really good info enjoyed . Even though watched WIgan nearly 60 years still learned from it the saying is true never to old to learn. thanks.

Excellent idea this, before I read in-depth I'm already taken back by the mass numbers at games! If only we attract such numbers to the DW week in week out :D

The rugby games usually regularly got more spectators than association football. I usually tweet about that fact too.

Wigan v Warrington got 12,000 one weekend whilst Glasgow Rangers v Blackburn Rovers (at the time FA Cup winners) only got 6,000
