Would have preferred another ref both on and off the field but at least it's not Child on the field.
Better get our discipline sorted and lips buttoned up tight - Hicks does like to 'strut his stuff' when the cameras are there and the BBC commentary team will be glad to join in, no doubt.
Need to have our heads right from the start.

Another example of being careful what you wish for! After Child's woeful efforts to control Hull messing around at the PTB I was calling for a new referee for round 2 this Cup weekend and along comes the man who since his performance on the touchline in the drawn match some 8? years ago against Warrington hasn't been fit to be a linesman.
