The second tier is an eclectic mix of rugby league players; from part-timers to full-timers, the Championship has an abundance of stars that, for some reason, have just never made it to the big-time or have dropped down a league. But, just which five players would make it in Super League if given the opportunity?

Except for the first one, who I think his age could be against him sadly, the other four sound excellent prospects & still young

It’s a big step up. There are better players coming off contract at the end of the season.

is this an article produced in Yorkshire by any chance :) :)

here are some good players in the lower leagues (Bradford,Batley and Fev)

pretty sure there will be some players at other clubs capable of making the step up with the right conditions and not just based in yorkshire

The RFL and SL should look to relax the salary cap rule and allow all SL teams to take a Championship player on loan for a season without them counting against the cap. At least that way some of the guys in the lower leagues may be given a career pathway.

Rfl/super league and great ideas (and it is) don’t really go together

A shame, cos yeah that's a good idea. Hard to see the down-side.

Unless you're a championship club where SL teams can poach your best players without financial downsides.
