Re: New Coach.
For me, if Lam wins at Old Trafford and we review the squad and whole backroom team for 2022, I'd happily give him 12 months again. We have to win the GF though!
Craig Bellamy's future has had speculation centered around it recently. Doubt he'll come to the UK though and I'm sure he will cost a few bob!
I'd happily take Wane back although I can't see this happening. Think Goulding could be one for the future though (few years yet).
Lam isn't a disaster at all IMO. I've always said we could and can sign a more experienced first grade coach. Question is (REALISTICALLY) who are our options.
After the FC game, if we claim the GF and possibly the LLS, will this demonstrate Lam is and can build something (especially with a few signings and 12 months more experience)?

I agree Lam is not a disaster but Wane is available and if we do not win the GF then i can not see him here next season. Even if we win it he will go to the NRL. Lots of movement coaching wise next season.CheshireWarrior wrote: ↑Sun May 09, 2021 4:51 pm For me, if Lam wins at Old Trafford and we review the squad and whole backroom team for 2022, I'd happily give him 12 months again. Re: New Coach.
Wigan have never stopped talking to Shaun Wane, They have asked to be kept informed on his plans from day 1. but the club have a feeling Wane guarantees Williams return, don't get me wrong if Lam is still here there is a chance Williams will still return. I think its more likely than not he will return regardless of the coachEast Stand Faithful wrote: ↑Sun May 09, 2021 1:34 pmAre you saying Wigan are already talking to Wane or is that just your thoughts?

Can’t understand why we can’t sign anyone other than former players or coaches. Until the jobs for the boys culture ends we won’t reach our full potential.
