King, Hurrell & Clark
King, Hurrell & Clark
Toby King wants Marquee level money, Wigan are interested but not at the wages he is asking for.
Interest in Hurrell Is real. (seem to remember a post from someone a while ago mentioning him)
Mitch Clark had a loan deal lined up which has fallen through.

Isn't that the second time a Mitch Clark loan deal has fallen through recently?

Was an opportunity to leave in the previous off season, yes.nathan_rugby wrote: ↑Wed May 12, 2021 1:27 pm Isn't that the second time a Mitch Clark loan deal has fallen through recently?
Wigan seem willing to let him go, Clark seems determined to stick his contract out

Thought it fell through because Lam vetoed it saying we were short of forwards?Firestarter wrote: ↑Wed May 12, 2021 1:44 pmI heard same…… i thought mitch was going toulouse and it fell throughDan2266 wrote: ↑Wed May 12, 2021 1:37 pmWas an opportunity to leave in the previous off season, yes.nathan_rugby wrote: ↑Wed May 12, 2021 1:27 pm Isn't that the second time a Mitch Clark loan deal has fallen through recently?

Lam did say that yes, but he cant exactly come out and say "we are happy for him to leave, but he wont leave".Mike wrote: ↑Wed May 12, 2021 2:20 pmThought it fell through because Lam vetoed it saying we were short of forwards?Firestarter wrote: ↑Wed May 12, 2021 1:44 pmI heard same…… i thought mitch was going toulouse and it fell through

Re: King, Hurrell & Clark
There is no way King will get marquee money at any club although there is nothing wrong with him starting his bidding from such a lofty position. Hurrell would be a real crowd pleaser but he wont come cheap. As for Mitch, I don't see him playing for Wigan again unless we have an injury crisis. The good news is we are looking to recruit.

I don't think Hurrell will command more than the departing Gildart, so I wouldn't be surprised to see this happen.Charriots Offiah wrote: ↑Wed May 12, 2021 3:22 pmThere is no way King will get marquee money at any club although there is nothing wrong with him starting his bidding from such a lofty position. At least if King stays at Wire we will have pushed his salary up and reduced their availability under the cap.Dan2266 wrote: ↑Wed May 12, 2021 3:53 pmI don't think Hurrell will command more than the departing Gildart, so I wouldn't be surprised to see this happen.Charriots Offiah wrote: ↑Wed May 12, 2021 3:22 pmThere is no way King will get marquee money at any club although there is nothing wrong with him starting his bidding from such a lofty position.
