One of the worst I saw live was in the battle of Fartown: Huddersfield v Wigan in 2nd Division, 1981.
A clothes line tackle on Huddersfield 2nd row, a black lad called Johnson, by either Alan Hodkinson or Eddie Bowman. The match was shown on ITV, I think it's on YouTube. Six sent off?

Bit before i started watching rugby as we never played at our primary school, so wasnt aware of the game
have seen it on you tube and its a little bit of a battle
