Ice hockey probably beats us in terms of nations playing TBH. Baseball a little more restricted.

I'm not. Ice hockey is an example of a dominant league in one nation that doesn't regularly engage with the large worldwide international competition. I'm wondering if with current Aussie attitudes and the European leagues heading for semi-pro status whether we might end up in the same situation?

The Aussies have never been interested in the international game, all they care about is the NRL and state of origin. Every decision they make is to improve their domestic game , they will play internationals when it suits them

International Rugby League is the biggest joke ever . 3 nations can cherry pick any players they want as they have grade A status regardless if they have played for another nation.
