The transfer policy doesn’t make sense to me at all

My guess is: Zak, Field, Bibby, gildart (or Halsall when gildart withdraws), Marshall, Hastings, smith.

simple answer, hes not as good as the other players, Field played Fullback in the NRL aswell as HB so pretty simple again, We dont have squads anymore or reserves to "ease" people in, once fit you play thats just the reality of it, add to that where would you ease him in on the wing where he has played one game professionally and that was for us.....stupid selection that was?

Knowing lam, zac/field probably won’t even play against Salford and he will keep Hastings at full back and play whoever he pulls out of positional bingo in the halves with smith.

Full back in the modern game needs to read the opposition and olhelp to organise the team structure in defence and attack. I think that's probably why Hanley hasn't played there. Field needs easing into that role imo.

If he starts at 1, the thinking must be that it's more important to get him up to speed asap, even at the risk of losing to Salford.

I'd put him on the bench and bring him on when we're 18 points in front!
