From the listed squad I'd personally go with:

3. Hardaker
22. Bibby
28. Halsall
13. Bateman
5. Marshall
6. Field
31. Hastings
23. Clark
34. O'Neill
8. Singleton
15. Smithies
12. Farrell (c)
25. Shorrocks

10. Bullock
14. Partington
20. Smith
19. Byrne

Gildart is out of form, KPP and Havard need a rest.

Doesn't matter whether our defence is solid or not currently, if we can't cross the try line, where does that leave us?

1. Hardaker
2. Bibby
3. Bateman
4. Gildart
5. Marshall
6. Hastings
7. Smith
8. Singo
9. Bourouh (note spelling!)
10. Bullock
11. Shorrocks
12. Faz
13. Partington

14. Smithies
15. Byrne
16. Harvard
17. Clark

Gildart hasn't been great, but looked to be improving against
Leeds, and has class.

Field hasn't shown very much and I'm beginning to think he's another over-hyped signing.

Playing Shorrocks in his original position sounds like an outlandish option that I doubt Lam will go for, morley, although more seriously, I think he, amongst others, is overdue a rest. i'd like to see Halsall get some more game time, though, he has showed up so well.

When was the last time you saw Gildarts “class”?

Probably going back to 2018 being honest.

Gildart not done anything above average for last two seasons yet hardly a word of criticism, Field gets a serious injury 20 minutes into his debut and after three games into his comeback he’s being written off as over hyped and a flop , now I’m not saying he’s the next Brett Kenny but let’s have a level playing field regarding judging players

Spot on, gilly has been garbage and Field looks know where near full fitness so harsh to write him off already.

We need to start with Singleton and bullock as props, and prefably Farnell,Bateman and shorrocks in the back row.Hastings and field at half back, rest smith havard kpp,and smithies, play Partington,Byrne,Clark, and Borough or o,Neil 0n the bench,We need to run around cas as they have a big pack playing on a small pitch.this is from suzies husband with full coaching certs.

Given how ill I feel this morning I’m glad I didn’t splurge for the Cas trip,at this point I’d say the magic weekend will be off too.

I’ll be going although I’ve not been well since Friday & came home at half-time on Saturday at the U19’s game v Warrington. Which they won BTW 36 - 16

You wouldn’t know though with nothing on the official site only on Twitter & probably FB although there is a report on the Women’s loss to Castleford yesterday!

Hope you feel better soon 😊
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
