Fan Village returns

Post by josie andrews »

The Warriors Fan Village returns this week for St Patrick’s Day at Robin Park Arena and its bigger and better than ever before!

The Village will be inside at Robin Park Arena and will be open both before and after the match.

We have teamed up with local events company Central Fusion to ensure it’s the perfect place to soak up the match day atmosphere before kick off at the DW Stadium – adjacent to Robin Park Arena.

Live music, plenty of great food, drink and activities will be available from 6pm before kick off of Wigan’s Betfred Super League fixture against Castleford Tigers on Thursday evening (8pm K.O.)

You will also have the chance to rub shoulders with some of the first team with Q&As taking place. So, whether you want to grab a selfie or bag a signature, the Fan Village is certainly worth the visit!

To gain entrance to the Fan Village you just need to show your match day ticket or season ticket on arrival at Robin Park Arena’s main entrance.

Here’s what you can expect on Thursday night:

Local talent – Playing music throughout the evening, plus interactive challenges and quizzes for supporters to get involved with.

Wigan Warriors first team live Q&As and match review before and after the game.

Central Fusion – Serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic refreshments including beer, cider, wine and spirits.

Meet Mighty Max – The Wigan Warriors Mascot will be there ahead of kick off.
P
Club Store – Our Club Store will be open until kick off. The Store will reopen immediately after full time.

Executive Director, Kris Radlinski, said: “We are delighted to be able to bring back our Fan Village. This is the first time in two years we have been able to do it and this season it will be bigger and better than ever before. We look forward to inviting all our fans in to Robin Park Arena to see the development and additions to the facility as well as a place to go and enjoy the matchday atmosphere – before and after the game.”

Make the most of your game day experience and come and join us at the Fan Village at Robin Park Arena from 6pm-7:50pm and straight after the final hooter until 11pm!

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
