WARRINGTON Wolves' Challenge Cup hopes for 2022 are over.
For the second consecutive week, Wakefield Trinity left The Halliwell Jones Stadium with victory as they advanced to the quarter-finals.
Quickfire tries from Reece Lyne and Corey Hall after half-time sealed victory after Lewis Murphy had pegged Wire back in the first half.
Daryl Powell's side had earlier made a bright start as Connor Wrench and Josh Thewlis crossed, but they are out of the cup before the last eight for the first time since 2008.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
