Warriors Wheelchair back home

Post by josie andrews »

See Wigan Warriors Wheelchair in action as they return to action at home next weekend.

Wigan Warriors Wheelchair set to play reigning champions Leeds at home on Sunday 24th April.

Spectators are welcome to attend the game prior to the first team game at the DW Stadium but booking is advised.

Wigan Warriors Wheelchair team are back in action and back home on Sunday 24th April as they host Leeds at Robin Park Leisure Centre.

The Warriors Wheelchair side have had a great start to life in the Betfred Wheelchair Super League as they played out a 66-28 thriller against London Roosters in their inaugural game. They have since gone on to beat Warrington Wolves and North Wales Crusaders, just narrowly falling to their first loss against Halifax Panthers a few weeks ago.

The Cherry & Whites now prepare to face reigning Wheelchair champions Leeds Rhinos at Robin Park Leisure Centre on Sunday 24th April (10:45am K.O.)

With the first team playing Salford Red Devils at the DW Stadium later on that day (1pm) why not get down early and see the Wheelchair team in Super League competition before heading over to take your seat for Wigan v Salford.

Entry is FREE for spectators, but the venue is limited to 100 people. To avoid disappointment, you can add your name to our spectators list for free HERE.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
