Loan/Dual Reg Report

Post by josie andrews »

Eight Warriors featured for their loan and dual registration Clubs over the Easter weekend.

Ramon Silva featured for Widnes off the Interchange bench as they lost out by a 36-6 scoreline to Leigh Centurions on Friday afternoon, whilst Adam Jones and Toby Brannan once again made appearances on loan for Cornwall as they travelled to Doncaster, losing 52-16.

Ben O’Keefe was in the starting line-up for Rochdale and came up against fellow Warriors Tom Forber and Logan Astley who featured for Oldham Roughyeds on Friday. Forber was denied a try on the afternoon after a fantastic break saw him tackled in a last ditch effort just before the whitewash as Rochdale took the 34-18 win.

Umyla Hanley and Matty Nicholson were in the starting line-up for Newcastle Thunder as they travelled to York on Saturday afternoon, but it was a disappointing day for Thunder as they were held to a sole try in a 38-6 defeat to York City Knights.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
