No, Its not ironic, its behind a paywall that he has released, hence I've not posted a link. Ive spoken to John many of times. We have mutual sources. I was told this afternoon by a rugby league journalist that he was going to the dark side. Hard to believe that he would give up the chance of playing in a CC Final. However, from the club’s point of view it is essential that standards are maintained.

Leeds & Fetherstone were in contact with Wigan. I dont know of anyone else. That wouldn't help him with his relocation. Terrible journalism, give the lad a break. If it’s a discipline issue I’m sure he would hold hand up but out and out release ??? Really????
