Got something to discuss about RL in general? Then this is the place to post it.

Bbc RL coverage

Post by Blackpool_Pie »

Poor timekeeping

Constant cuts away from the action either to other people not in the thick of it or to a replay. Was tearing my hair out watching some of the replays and then coming back to the action 2 tackles later.

Mic on the ref seemed to stop working. (Not a terrible thing when it's Child)

Commentary team seem to think only Saints had any players missing and were absolutely fascinated by Lomax.

Substitution graphics were generally about 5 minutes late.

Any more? Not impressed in the slightest

The commentary on Hudds/HKR seems better to me. I do remember a graphic saying Shorrocks and someone were on, and thinking, hang on, he's been on ages.

It wasnt that bad for me apart from the constant replays and zooming in on staff etc, whilst we were missing the action

John "I'm not relevant anymore but still bitter that Wigan sacked me" Keir was orgasmic when rattling on about Welsby, almost as embarrassing as the Wiggy Hemmings days :D

I’m only at the Batchelor sin bin & thought there was only Sts playing ‘French is away, but what about the chase from Welsby, what a chase from Welsby’!!

Oh and Lomax!!
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Gwens said the same thing Josie what a shambles the BBC commentators are

Anyway, did many of you guys see the other semi-final? HKR were a bit of a rabble, but Hudds looked impressive.

Workmanlike I reckon. We should have the threat to get past them.

We were on our way home, I tried to watch it on the iPlayer on my phone but was too giddy & excited from our win I missed it all 🤩 not too bothered though 😲
