Wigan squad for Huddersfield
21-man squad named for Thursday’s Betfred Super League game against Huddersfield.
Head Coach Matt Peet has named his squad as the Warriors prepare for Round 12.
Huddersfield Giants v Wigan Warriors, Thursday 12th May, 8pm K.O.
Matt Peet has named his 21-player Wigan Warriors squad for Thursday’s Betfred Super League game against Huddersfield Giants.
The Warriors are away from home as they travel to the John Smith’s Stadium this Thursday 12th May.
Team News
Matt Peet has made five changes to the squad that faced St Helens in the Challenge Cup Semi Final on Saturday. Rotating his squad, Liam Marshall, John Bateman, Morgan Smithies, Liam Byrne and Jai Field all drop out. In their place come James McDonnell, Umyla Hanley, Matty Nicholson, Logan Astley and Jack Bibby as well as the inclusion of Willie Isa who was a late omission from the squad last week.

I understand the sentiment behind this - but i disagree hes in very good form and doesnt look like he needs a rest where-as some of the others do

I'm really hoping Matty Nicholson gets a run out, one of the best prospects I've seen coming through the academy system in quite a few years.
