I know both sides of Wigan don't exactly see eye to eye but we were all saddened to hear of the death of Gordon Harrison. He did the Golden Gamble all last season at latics matches and did the town proud. I'll never forget his catchphrase:

"Now, what everebody wants to win, listen to this you <opposition's name> fans, they're made in wigan {CHEER}, they're wrapped in wigan {cheer} It's the jar of uncle Joe's mintballs {big cheer}"

Although he was a rugby mon through and through, the guy was a hit with both sides and will be sadly missed.

RIP Gordon.

I hadn't realised he did the Latics matches too.
There's a 'book of condolence' on the Warriors website, in case you missed the earlier posts about it.

He was a grafteras well. He was always outside sellingthe tickets. Heput his heart and soul into it. I didn't hear he was ill so it was a huge shock.
