But what really grieves me is the fact that Stains have won umpteen Challenge cups and League/Grand Finals in the last 10 years with much lower crowds and income.
Leeds in particular are much sharper than Wigan, they sent Mathers to Warrington for a year and then brought him back, we sold Briscoe to Hull, Leeds regularly farm out players to other Superleague clubs (generally Hull/Wakefield) we offload and leave the cupboard bare.
Our overseas signings have simply not been in the class of Bulls/Stains, our fitness conditioning has not been as good as half the other clubs in Superleague. Wen we have accidentally signed a good overseas player we let them go and replace them with inferior players, (Renouf/Ainscough, Smith/Seuseu for e.g.)
All in all our general management over the last 10 years has been poor in most aspects of the club and yet we can still average 13K+, think what we could get if we were run properly!

I think it's not about the club today moreso what it was like upon SL arriving. The clubs that did well in SL were the best set up when SL began. We were not and you end up trying to make up for lost time in very difficult circumstances (Salary cap and 20/20) You can no longer quickly fix mistakes and mismanagement.

the players that we have lsot havent been replaced with the same quality. plus the clubs around us also have world class players and make the league more competitive.....i disagree with the lnodon comment. we should take over them next season if we have a good season
