No Wigan players in except Wild and Carney(But they have left anyway). That's good news as it gives all our players time to recharge ready for next season. It did wonders for Sinfield missing out on last year's squad. Lets hope the same happens for Calderwood and Tickle next year. and here's hoping our players recover from there injuries who should have been in the squad.(Newton, Rads, Locks, Hock.

What on earth is Stephen Wild doing in the GB Squad, i was suprised he was there lastyear but at least he had a good season lastyear. who are starting wingers going to be? Carney and Pryce?? Pryce is better suited playing elsewhere and carney has scored about 3 tries all season. I think he has lost the plot calderwood is the only british winger who has proved that he can score tries this season, lets hope he get picked after the england france match.

And in the England squad the only Wigan player to get close is Godwin as a stand-by in case others get injured. How long is it since we were so poorly represented in the international squads? Whilst it's good for our lads to have a rest, there's bound to be some people citing this as a real sign of decline by our club. With half a team of overseas players next year things are not likely to be much better...

Biggest surprises: Calderwood out, Deacon in.
And no decent fullback in the squad! Noble will go with Wellens though...much as I don't like to play players out of position, I'd have either Raynor or Price ahead of him!
I'd go for something like:-

Price

Raynor
Gleeson
Senior
Carney

Horne
Burrow

Morley
Cunningham
Fielden
Peacock
Thackray
Sinfield

Fozzard
Higham
Walker
Ellis

Urghhhhhh :(

Mark Calderwood must clearly have done something wrong to Noble. The selection of Carney and Raynor (the best two scooters) is like waving a white flag and saying we are going to be stuck in our red zone for long periods. Calderwood gains you far more in terms of kick chases and converting try scoring opportunities. Ah well good for us I suppose.

Stephen Wild

I could go on but we know this is Noble. I haven't much hope for us at all. The Aussies have been slated for losing the first match so they will come back fired up first at NZ then to us.

It's going to be Spotty Harris instead of Horne, particularly now he wears Bradford colours. I don't like Spotty as a person but he's not a bad player, and obviously Noble thinks he can do the job otherwise they wouldn't have brought him back from Union. Horne's never really had much chance for GB, and I don't think he'll get it this year either.

Probably...I was going for the team I'd pick, not the one I think Noble will pick. TBH, I'd have had Mathers at fullback, but he's not even made the squad. He'll go for Wellens. Don't think it matters much which half-backs get selected, though...none of them are anywhere the quality of the opposition.

Deacon is bereft of creativity. If you analyse the Bulls attacking play they literally had to batter teams into submission to score tries and then they tend to be individual runs from Hape or the Volcano.

Gilmour, Wilde, Wilkin, Johnson better than Tickle :o

If you wamnted to be bold you would include both Cooke and Horne. As it stans Horne will be on the bench I daresay
