Charnley to Leigh

Post by buttmonkey2 »

Have they no salary cap?

Winger Josh Charnley has joined Championship club Leigh Centurions on loan until the end of the season from Warrington Wolves and signed a further two-year deal next year.
Back by demand.

Not sure on the salary cap. But in my opinion it’s a backwards step career wise even if they get promoted. That said he has a young family and is probably unlikely to want to up sticks and move to Yorkshire. Good luck to him, always been a big fan

A championship club with Blake Ferguson and Josh Charnley as starting wingers looks impressive to me!

Good luck to him can’t help but feel he’s still good enough to be in SL though

I agree, definitely SL standard still without doubt. That said, Leigh look very healthy for SL next season with their recent recruitment ambitions.

Shame he wasn't allowed to here, It wouldn't have fit with the jobs for the boys agenda
