Luke Thompson

Got a hot rumour from a source inside the club, or just something you heard down the pub? Then what are you waiting for, post it on The Rumour Mill.

Prop we’ve needed for a long time.
Big, powerful, good pace and feet
Interestingly, all our props are bigger apart from Partington.
There's a massive difference between being big/small & playing big/small. I think that gets lost in purely looking at measurements.

I am not sure how you determine whether somebody is big or small without looking at their height and weight. Playing big or small applies to all players not only props, but indirectly your point is what I was referring too.

I’m referring to what Thompson has in whole, not just his size

I did tell everyone he was Wigan's main target for 2023 on a thread round about the time Wane was announced.

Not sure if this is still the case or how realistic it is.

I remember 😊
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

I don't think Wigan will be signing Thompson, we have filled that gap by recruiting Cooper.

Both will be on significantly more money than Partington.

But you can’t get a player in the squad if you can’t get him under the cap. Otherwise, I think that is likely.
