This is the team i reckon peety will go with…. No info just a guess

1 field
2 french
3 isa
4 bibby
5 marshy
6 cust
7 smith
8 cooper
9 shorrocks
10 singleton
11 faz
12 smithies
13 ellis

14 miski
15 partington
16 mago
17 KPP

Bit controversial but i reckon byrne is due a rest…… having miski on the bench will allow the switch of cust to hooker….. only really got french to go fullback or i might have said halsall for miski…..singo has to play for game time surely….. idea with this team is smash them the first half but ill wait and see……. Would be a massive headache if tommy, havard and batty were fit

Sorry about the exclamation mark, corrected it now. I was still annoyed with a PM I’d just read!

1 Bevan French 😊

Lots of props, no hooker and few back rowers in there. Interesting team choice for Peet....
Much as I'd like to see Hill and Nsemba, I think the loss of the hookers makes that unlikely.

21-man squads: Wigan Warriors v Warrington Wolves on Friday

BOTH Warrington Wolves and Wigan Warriors will be without key men for the crunch 'derby' at the DW Stadium tomorrow, Friday, kick-off 8pm.

Former Canterbury Bulldogs full-back Matt Dufty, who made an impressive debut for The Wire in Saturday's loss at Huddersfield Giants before limping out with a foot injury, will miss the game.

He is also a doubt for next week's bottom-of-the-table battle with Toulouse Olympique at The Halliwell Jones Stadium, with scan results indicating the need for rest and a likely return date of two to three weeks.

Another mid-season recruit, Thomas Mikaele, looks to have shaken off an ankle injury that left him being helped off the field at the John Smith's Stadium and is named in Daryl Powell's 21-man squad.

Half-back George Williams is back in contention after being a late withdrawal from the Huddersfield match with a migraine.

Powell's big call will be who replaces Dufty at full-back.

He could recall Josh Thewlis, or switch Stefan Ratchford from the halves to allow Riley Dean to feature at stand-off.

Wolves 21: Kyle Amor, Matty Ashton, Joe Bullock, Daryl Clark, Jason Clark, Ben Currie, Matt Davis, Riley Dean, James Harrison, Oliver Holmes, Peter Mata'utia, Tom Mikaele, Greg Minikin, Robbie Mulhern, Matty Nicholson, Stefan Ratchford, Josh Thewlis, Danny Walker, Jake Wardle, George Williams, Connor Wrench.

Matt Peet has made a number of changes to his Wigan selection, with hooker Sam Powell added to the list of absentees but Mike Cooper is set to play against his hometown club for the first time having left The Wire last month.

Iain Thornley, Tommy Leuluai and John Bateman remain sidelined and Brad O’Neill is suspended, though Brad Singleton is back available after serving a three-match suspension for a high tackle at Magic Weekend.

There is no recognised hooker listed among the Wigan names.

I notice Nsemba started at centre for the Academy at the weekend. Anyone know if this was an emergency measure or are we contemplating converting another forward into a centre?

Wire have a decent squad, irrespective of their recent form this will be a test for us. We need to be on our mettle.
