Fiji v Scotland spoiler
WoW Scotland are not half giving a game to Fiji. 10 points in it
Maybe behind on the score board but just playing so well against the size of these Fijians

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Serious question EW - was listening to Andrew Henderson post game yesterday and he was happier that the Scots gave it a go, but also commented that you drew with NZ 4 years ago, but are now praising a loss to Fiji, who are not in the same league. Is that a sign that the players arent good enough, lack of planning, lack of player pool or how poor international RL is considered generally (just commented on another post about the lack of planning for international RL)?EDINBURGH-WARRIOR wrote: ↑Sat Oct 29, 2022 9:39 pm Did us proud tonight. The variables that the associate teams have is that no Southern hemisphere players will come over to play in European Championships so there is no continuity in selection . Four years ago the end of season games were against New Zealand, Australia and England so a good few Southern Hemisphere players made themselves available for that because it was against the best in the business.
Andrew Henderson and his 2 brothers played for Scotland in the World Cup . When the next World Cup came at least one of his brothers threw their hat in the ring with England so he knows first hand what problems the Associate Home countries have with continuity so surprised he makes statements like that . He knows the problem first hand so that was a bit of a cheap shot I think
The only Scotland game that disappointed me was the Italy game they were a shambles of a team imo . The Aussie game was always going to be painful but not once did they let their heads go down and fought manfully to the end as they did yesterday.
Scotland only have a 5 team league so that's a limiting factor as well.
